Indigenous Education

Our unique Indigenous Education program at 91影视 promotes the nurturing and development of quality teachers who learn in non-Indigenous and Indigenous classrooms and communities with a special emphasis on developing Indigenous content and processes.

The Indigenous Education program offers a holistic cultural component, with a specific land-based education component integrated throughout the program. Students are well-prepared for teaching because they have school-based teaching experience every semester, including band school placements unique to our Indigenous Education programs.

How to Apply to Indigenous Education Programs

The first step for all undergraduate and after-degree Indigenous Education applicants is to apply through .

Qualified applicants will be invited to an interview for their Indigenous Education program of choice. All Indigenous Education degrees are approved by the Saskatchewan Teachers鈥� Professional Regulatory Board and meet the requirements for Teacher Certification in Saskatchewan.
